As usual, I'm up to my eyeballs in trouble. With the fate of mankind hanging in the balance, I'm on a new mission to stop the Dark Ones from unleashing a second wave of attacks that promises to destroy the world as we know it. But first I have to find Thomas and save him from the clutches of Vycandor before it's too late. Unfortunately for me, I can't tell where my feelings for one of them end...or where they begin for the other. Gambling with my heart, I make a fateful choice only to discover that a powerful new enemy is stalking my every move, watching my every kiss, and waiting to destroy my one and only chance at undying love. In the most dangerous love triangle of all time, I'm going to have to make the ultimate sacrifice. As it turns out, finding my other half was the easy part. Chasing destiny might just get one of us killed.

I climbed out of my watery grave stronger, deadlier, and even more powerful than before with one mission on my mind. And one mission only. Revenge. First order of business? Find the witch who turned my friends into flesh eating monsters, and make her pay. Second order of business? Make her pay some more. If it's a fight she wants, she just found one. Some people need to learn lessons the hard way. Before you play with fire, you should know who you're playing with. Black magic is bad. But I'm bad-ass. Hold on tight because things are about to get very, very revengy. I'm one pissed off weapon of mass destruction. I may have been designed to destroy the world, but I'm going to enjoy destroying that witch so much more. Copyright © 2014 ~ Somerlea All rights reserved. The name's Chaos. Chaos Killbourne to be exact. People call me reckless, but they're wrong. I'm more like the perfect storm. Destroy an entire city with a single glance? I can do that. Wipe mankind off the face of the earth once and for all? I can do that too. Born to lead a revolt of epic proportions so the Dark Ones can rise up and rule the world is my destiny. Refusing to follow direct orders and become a weapon of mass destruction is my downfall. Cursed by fate, I'm currently on a collision course to form the perfect union in order to balance my explosive supernatural powers before I self-destruct, and take the planet with me. There's just one tiny problem. Once formed the union can never be broken. With a bad attitude and an even worse temper I can't be tamed. Not that I have time to worry about my love life, of course. I'm just trying to make it through high school in one piece. All I know for sure is that the future of mankind rests in my hands, which really pisses me off. I never asked to save the world. After all, I was born to destroy it. Copyright © 2014 ~ Somerlea All rights reserved. In Abby Hamilton's world, superheroes do more than just stop crime and save cats stuck in trees - they also drink milk straight from the carton and hog the television remote. Abby's older brother moonlights as the famous Red Comet, but without powers of her own, following in his footsteps has never crossed her mind. That is, until the city's newest vigilante comes bursting into her life. After saving Abby from an attempted mugging, Morriston's fledgling supervillain Iron Phantom convinces her that he's not as evil as everyone says - and that their city is under a vicious new threat. As Abby follows him deeper into their city's darkest secrets, she comes to learn that heroes can't always be trusted, and sometimes it's the good guys who wear black.

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.
