Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away. Her efforts go to waste as her body slowly starts to shut down, the air in her lungs quickly being replaced by sea water. Cally is vaguely aware of arms wrapping around her waist and behind her head before she loses consciousness, submerged in darkness. And so she is taken. Another victim of the mysterious sea. 《Completed》 Subscribe to TheAllieL Patreon for exclusive stories and content not featured on Wattpad and to support future works and book publishing! - Free Subscriber Tier - Allie's Library - Tier 1 - $2/month - Allie's Journal - Tier 2 - $5/month Subscribe here: Patreon.com/TheAllieL

❝we barely knew each other and now it's like we have this kinda bond. no one's really mentioned it but i know we all feel it. i dunno shit about true friendships but i feel like we all made some and lost some this week.❞ (¯'*•.¸,¤°'✿.。.: *.:。.✿'°¤,¸.•*'¯) On the annual school trip to Disney World, Akanke Donovan (resident player of Acadia High School) decides to make the week a bit more interesting by adding the classic party game Truth or Dare to the adventure. The results are something beyond the wildest stretches of her imagination. The players of the game are the first of the strange events. There's the girl Akanke's hooking up with on the regular, the nerdy guy friend whose favorite color is galaxy and has weekly summaries of The Outsiders on hand, his best friend (whose trip will be ruined if the Shrek soundtrack isn't played at least once), her motherly friend, a quiet girl with a taste for music that's played at a ridiculous volume, a boy who probably does drugs (emphasis on 'probably'), and the referee of the game (who's really bad at her job). And that's only Day One. From dates to betrayals to "All Star" by Smash Mouth, the seven days that eight teens spend together are full of adventure and excitement that no one will be forgetting any time soon. 【Completed September 20, 2018】 (¯'*•.¸,¤°'✿.。.: *.:。.✿'°¤,¸.•*'¯) Brief warnings for: Brief homophobia, strong language, underage drinking, brief use of cigarettes AWARDS/ACHIEVEMENTS: FIRST PLACE in The Piggyback Summer 2019 Awards (General Fiction) // July 2019 Honorable Mention in The Creativity Awards 2019 (Teen Fiction) // June 2019 Now FEATURED in @YA 's "Clueless" Reading List // August 2019
