For the longest time Devon Dursley had been told by his father and mother that his cousin Harry was a freak and that's all he'd ever been. He saw how Harry was treated behind the closed doors of the house. If Dudley and his friends weren't chasing Harry around trying to use him as a punching bag, his Father and Mother were sending him snide comments and submitting him to long and tedious hours of housework, unfit for the lanky 10 year old. Devon of course, remained unable to express the unpopular opinion he held, something which greatly upset him. Of course Devon never thought that Harry was a freak.
