Hanilla stumbled through the crowded hallway, her books nearly toppling as usual. She wasn't paying attention-not really-but then she ran straight into him.
Julian.
And of course, he looked exactly like someone who could make the world stop, just by frowning. Dark hair, sharp eyes, expensive everything, and that smirk like he knew he owned the entire school.
"Oh-oh my gosh! I'm so s-sorry!" Hanilla stammered, her cheeks flaming as she scrambled to steady her books.
Julian leaned down, just enough to look at her properly, and raised an eyebrow. "You're clumsy, aren't you?"
"I-I just-uh-I wasn't looking-" she faltered, twisting a strand of hair nervously.
He smirked, and that infuriating grin made her heart beat faster. "You're always like this?"
"Uh... n-no! I mean-yes, I mean-I don't-" Hanilla's words tangled themselves into something unrecognizable, and she wished the floor would just swallow her whole.
Julian's smirk widened. "Cute."
"C-cute?" she whispered, mortified, almost dropping her books again.
"Yes. You're... c-cute," he teased, mimicking her stammer.
Hanilla's jaw dropped. "I-I'm not... I mean-I'm not...!"
He leaned closer, his voice low, teasing. "Relax, I'm not saying it's a bad thing."
Hanilla has always been the quiet, clumsy girl everyone barely notices... until the day she literally runs into Julian-the school's irresistible, dangerous, and impossibly rich bad boy.
One wrong step, a stammered apology, and suddenly she's the center of his teasing smirk. He's sharp, confident, and completely infuriating... and for some reason, he's intrigued by her.
For Hanilla, every encounter with Julian is a whirlwind of flustered words, racing hearts, and unspoken questions. How can someone so untouchable notice someone like her? And more importantly... why does she secretly want him to?
A story of innocence colliding with chaos, hearts stammering where words fail, and love that finds you when you least expect it.
