However, both individuals prayed and hoped for very different outcomes. Rey wanted nothing more than to bring Kylo Ren back to the Light. After Crait, the Resistance is all but decimated. It will take time before they regain the strength and numbers to be anything more than an annoyance to the First Order. In the meanwhile, the Force bond between Rey and the new Supreme Leader not only continues but grows. They begin to be able to see one another's surroundings, touch things... and as the bond grows, so does their relationship. Mutual distrust becomes begrudging acceptance. Then a strange sort of friendship. And then... well... ;) Post TLJ Reylo fanfic; VERY Rey/Ben centric; will focus almost exclusively on times when the bond brings them together; A VERY patient slow burn that devotes a lot of time to character development. Rey and Ben Solo study the ways of the Jedi under the instruction of the legendary Luke Skywalker. Rey is naive to the idea of Jedi, having joined his school much later than most. Ben Solo is the brightest pupil under Luke, having been his nephew and also the grandson to Anakin Skywalker. Ben is the beacon of light Luke dreamed of when he envisioned bringing a new Jedi order to the galaxy. But Rey is not like Ben, she is troubled, constantly having hellish nightmares of dark deeds and a voice that constantly tells her to commit horrific atrocities. She has no clue what is truly happening within her, but she fears it...but tells no one. ✶ ✶ ✶ This is a story about Rey being corrupted by Snoke rather than Ben, and the fate of galaxy will be changed forever. Also, no smut ya filthy animals lol.

A month has passed since the death of Han Solo. A month since Star Killer Base was destroyed. A month since Finn nearly died battling Kylo Ren. A month since I found Luke Skywalker, and he agreed to train me. The month has not been kind, with the Republic gone, the First Order has risen while the Resistance has been diminished to staggeringly small number. And all this time i have tried to ignore the flood of grief for the father that I never had, and now never will have.
