Though, something is strikingly different with the device, noticeable to those who have encountered it before...but what? (F/N) (L/N), is a 22-year-old American transplant to Fuyuki City, Japan. The Fujimura's welcomed her when she showed interest in visiting...that was two years ago. Driven, beautiful, independent, and caring. Singlehandedly, she has carved a well-known life for herself. (Y/N) has her coldness to the world, baring deep scars from it, kept well hidden behind a bright smile in hopes to leave the past in America. When hurled into an alien existence of death and miracles, (Y/N) will need the help of a certain mysterious, cynical, arrogant spirit to survive. While she is no ordinary girl to be sure, she is far from a war trained mage. Archer, competes again for a purpose. His current role in the universe is a miserable one. It will be altered, he swears it...but for better, or worse? And what fresh hell have the fates dealt by contracting him with a novice mage to syphon from?! Will these two endure each other while waiting for the war to commence? Is overcoming themselves in order to work together even possible?
