I walked down the white hallways filled with the smell of bleach and chlorine. The lights above were too bright, too luminescent. I can't think. I can't look straight. I can't breathe. Everything was blurry. I touched my cheeks and felt tears cascade down to my chin. My steps faltered. My heart wouldn't stop beating out of my chest. "I'm sorry Nouran." She had looked at me sadly, eyes filled with emptiness. No, no, no. What am I going to do? What am I going to tell him? Him. Izhar. I can't breathe.... "what are you expecting from this marriage?" I asked. "Whatever a husband should expect from his wife" he replied in an emotionless way. "Which are?" I probed for a detailed answer "Love. Honest. Loyalty. Family. Sex" he recited like it was maths formula which he has been reciting for years. "Oh" my mouth fell open and I didn't know how to respond. His gaze curious, curious of what I will say, "You have my loyalty and honesty. There will be no one else in my life as long as I am your wife. But..." "But?" "But I am not going to sleep with you", I said. "You will" his voice pierced my thoughts. I looked up into his eyes which were staring at me with arrogance and confidence. "No. I won't" I said confused by his reply "Yes you will. You will sleep with me and that too willingly" he smirked "Why would I do that?" I asked "Are you trying to tell me that you plan to stay virgin for the rest of your life?" He stood in front of me, trapping me in between his ape like body and the kitchen counter. His closeness stirred my feelings. Suddenly I had doubts on my own words. Can I possibly try to keep my virtue intact with this man living under the same roof as me? ****** Taking marriage for granted was the biggest mistake Maithili has done in her life. Because she ended up marrying her ex boyfriend without her knowledge. She regrets that but is it really her biggest mistake or will it become her biggest blessing? Will her marriage work or will she get het heart broken again by the same guy?

Islam. Only one word, but more than twenty percent of the population. At least one fifth of this whole entire world is Muslim. But yet there are some who don't know anything about them, despite being a Muslim themselves. Among these people is an Afghan Muslim girl whose name is Amarah Sahar. She is seventeen years old, a senior in high school. She was born and raised in Canada with an Afghan background. Amarah has lived her life thinking that life is all about people not religion. She's never even wondered what the word Allah meant until she met the man who mistakenly changes her life. She wasn't snobby, she wasn't a girly-girl and neither was she a good girl. She was the most popular girl in school. She was lazy, immensely dense and had incredibly bad habits . But with that she was also funny, teasing and loud. No one ever saw her as a threat. She was an only child with parents that spent two-thirds of their life working and only one-third living with Amarah. They failed to educate Amarah and give her support. But when a 22 year old student teacher enters the school and sees Amarah's bad habits, he won't forget and neither will he forgive so easily for what she has done and what she continues doing. Out of all the people who cut her some slack, he isn't any of them. Will this Islam-loving, strict but sincere teacher ever show Amarah the true light of Islam?

[Highest ranking: #1 in Spiritual on 15/8/18] ••• • In which a girl saved a boy's life in the most unexpected of circumstances • She drank water. He drank alcohol. She had a family who'd take a bullet for her. He had a family who'd throw him under the bus. She dreamt of her future. He dreamt of his death. Both are Muslims but only one is closer to their Lord. ••• *NOT CLICHÉ* This story in no way depicts the true Muslim culture. It's about the modern Muslims nowadays who steer away from the right path. This book contains some strong language, graphic content and violence so I advise you to read it with care. "I know that we will never be a real couple, but we can at least be nice to each other Aneel" I told him. I've had enough. Tears were starting to prick my eyes, but I didn't let them fall. He looked over at me in a weird expression. Like if I died in front of him, he wouldn't care. "You don't get it, do you?! I. will. never. love. you! I will never care for you. You wait, every day, for me to come home and have dinner with you like normal couples do- you are pathetic. You are nothing! Absolutely nothing to me. You are not even worth my words. You are a loser who has nobody- your parents? They are just like me. They knew that you were worthless and wanted to get rid of you" he said angrily. I was not angry at him. He was telling the truth. I'm nothing. Never was, never will. I nodded. He was right. He was so damn right. Sahra Ali is eighteen years old when she gets married. It was not a marriage out of love, no, she was forced into it. Shre grew up being abused. Her parents sold her for money. No parent would do that, so are her so called parents her real parents? She is trying to survive this marriage, because she believes in Allah and knows that He had a good reason that He gave her all these pain. Aneel Osman is a badboy who wants nothing to do with Islam. He was a muslim when he was younger, but when something bad happened, he blamed Allah for it. Deep inside he knows that it is wrong, but shoves that thought away. And when he has to deal with that girl his parents wants him to marry, he is losing himself more and more. Read the description in the book for the fully version! This is a short draft! ~ Salaam guys, this story is edited! Almost everything has CHANGED and it is now a mature story. I like how it turned out. Thank you for all your support! It still contains small grammar mistakes. You have been warned:)
