This is the third book in the "Unapologetically Me" series. If you haven't read "Unapologetically Me" and "A Silenced Gift" please don't read this story until you've read them. This is a spin-off following one of Fatima's best friends, Chanel Henderson, on her journey to find "what's best for her." For Chanel, meeting Trey Songz was initially only supposed to be a fantasy. However, all of that changed from the moment they first laid eyes on each other. What was supposed to be the fulfillment of only one night of pleasure, turned into something more and at the same time nothing at all. And it lasted longer than either believed it would. While watching her two best friends, Fatima Ward and Autumn Allen, move on in more serious relationships, she decides that it's time she give being in a relationship a try. As much as she wishes it could be with Trey, she knows Trey can't give her more. What started between them was based on sex, it was never meant to be anything more but "fun." She tries to move on and find love with a "normal guy," but everywhere she turns, Trey is there. Will she follow her heart or do what makes the most sense? © 2017 D.S. Little All rights reserved. All of her emotions come rushing back, but is she ready to give up everything she cherishes for a man she knew for only one week and a world she never wanted? Excerpt: As soon as the pilot announced that we were safe to move around, Justin softly demanded, "Come here." My nerves really were frayed because I felt like he could tell me anything to do and I would do it. I have never felt that way about a man. I could easily be submissive to him and that scared the hell out of me. I didn't know it was possible to be so willing to do what a man asked of me without thought. I undid my belt and unsteadily walked to stand in front of him. "Take your jacket off and put your hands on my shoulders." As soon as I did, he tugged my dress down...

"And Draya, Dollicia ... The rest of them?" Drake asked as his back was turned to her. Tae sat quiet again unsure of what he was really asking, what he really wanted to know that she hadn't already confessed about. "They were a 'at that moment' thing. That may sound bad, but yeah..." She said shrugging as he voice trailed off. Drake could tell she wanted to say more but he didn't force it. Tae sighed picking up on his silence and spoke again. "Some of them I dated before you got to them, some of them you dated before I got to them, some of them fucked with me while they fucked with you and vise versa." He turned around, she could feel Drake burning a hole in the side of her face. "You took this position KNOWING that we shared the same past... The same women... a lot of the same women, and you said nothing!? Why!? You didn't think that was something you should of mentioned to me!?... oh by the way Aubrey, you and I fucked with the same women!? I couldn't get that!? Are you trying to make them jealous!? You using me for a specific purpose?!..... Get back at them?!... You don't think this is information that I should of known Lashauntae!" Drake's voice grew dark it went deep as he demanded a answer. His many antagonizing malicious filled questions, he cross examined her, with a smug frown yet he wasn't allowing her the opportunity to answer him back, he was so angry assuming her was being used for something like all women eventually used him for.
