In 1799, Ella Adair was born out of wedlock and without a single person who loved her. She was the product of a woman scorned and so she fell into the hands of a father who would not admit to her existence and punished her by marking her with her mothers Scottish name instead of his own, so everyone would know she didn't belong. Ella grew up in the shadows of the Laurent Household, unbeknownst to her that she was the sole heir to the very man she had never met. When her existence becomes compromised, twenty year old Ella places her fate in the hands of a woman who binds her soul to a future century. In this new century, Ella will be reborn, embraced and have the freedom to flourish in anyway she chooses. She will not remember anything from her previous life. Ella accepts the terms in hopes she will get what she's always wanted. However, her new life will end after her twenty-first year unless she can find the link between her old world and the new one. Ella's story becomes one of choices and consequences as she learns to navigate in one life and the next.

The events of the next two years that follow the end of the book. For those who only watched the movie (which I haven't yet, therefore I have no knowledge of how it ends and this is not based in it), here follows a quick explanation: Elio and Oliver meet again three times after that summer: one during Christmas in 1983, one in the States in 1996 for a drink at a hotel bar and one last time back in the summerhouse twenty years after their first encounter, just for a night, as he was passing through cities. The end of the book goes as: ❝Twenty years was yesterday, and yesterday was just earlier this morning, and morning seemed light-years away. "I'm like you," he said. "I remember everything." I stopped for a second. If you remember everything, I wanted to say, and if you are really like me, then before you leave tomorrow, or when you're just ready to shut the door of the taxi and have already said goodbye to everyone else and there's not a thing left to say in this life, then, just this once, turn to me, even in jest, or as an afterthought, which would have meant everything to me when we were together, and, as you did back then, look me in the face, hold my gaze, and call me by your name.❞ [word count: 14047] I do hope you enjoy this. It is the first time I come forward with a piece of work so intimate and that I'm extremely proud of, and one that bears my signature and not a pseudonym or anonymity. Feel free to leave your constructive critics and general comments, I'd love to hear them all. Have a great reading. ⚘

My moods and thoughts take the shape of poems. Whenever I have coffee, walk down the street, listen to the rain or my favorite song , there is this undeniable voice in my head. It aches, it laughs, it cries and it told me to create. This is for the young birds, who carry the hearts of old souls. From a teenage girl who collects her thoughts and keeps them in the palms of her hand and lets them slip and dance all over her journal and keyboard. Soothing your midnight thoughts.

Sick of cliché Wattpad books? Then this isn't the book for you. We take every single over-used plot, character and trope on Wattpad - from player-meets-nerd to my-boyfriend-is-a-vampire - and mash it all into one, awful, hilarious parody. NOTE: This is a parody. Characters have not been created to mock a race/nationality/sexuality, they have been created to lightly poke fun at the way certain teen fiction writers reduce them into crude stereotypes. Thanks for helping this pile of junk get to #1 in Humor!
