Enmira is a half elven skin changer, that went through a lot in her early years. After an encounter with Gandalf, she sees the company that she needs to protect and the, King Under the Mountain, makes her skin crawl. The journey has barely begun and she's already having strange feelings for the King. She doesn't understand what this pull means and Thorin seems to be in the same boat. But unlike her, he actually knows what's going on and is doing his best to ignore it. But a skin changer only has one mate in their lifetime and it's rare for a Dwarf to find their One. So when that true love is found, it's dangerous to avoid it.

Arina Lothdiel. A woman that's half elven and hobbit but has the mind of a killer. Ever since Arina was a child, she knew nothing but hatred and violence. All she ever did was fight, train wargs, and watch hundreds of races get slaughtered. Being raised by Orcs, taught her that love was a dangerous mix in her world. Though, it was no coincidence that Arina was at the Prancing Pony when Thorin Oakenshield was. She may have become selfish, but she never failed to follow her Masters orders. Loyalty was probably the one good trait she had and whatever her guardian wanted, she executed. At first, her mission was clear but now... she's tied between obeying the loyalty to her Master... or following a love that may not be returned.

Selene escaped from Azog's hold, but with little memory of who or what she is. When by chance (or not at all) she comes across the path of Gandalf the Grey, her life is changed forever. What will a quest with thirteen dwarves and a hobbit reveal about her past and possibly her future?

'In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take..." Ivy has walked Middle Earth for almost as long as the beginning of the land itself, surviving the world she was thrown into all alone, with no title. She has lived to see battles and wars throughout the course of time, never truly belonging anywhere or ever having a true calling. She thirsts for adventure, something to fill in the endless time that she will always have until the bittersweet kiss of death... So, it's no surprise when a familiar Wizard shows up, offering a quest, that she just can't pull herself to refuse. 13 Dwarves and a Hobbit make up the company for the long road ahead, each of her companions teaching her lessons. Ivy finds herself learning and evolving from these folk, letting herself feel included again. But will it last...? ~Credit to J.R.R Tolkien for creating this amazing world and story.
