The Ducks are now on their last year of middle school and a lot has changed. Willow Pearson and the rest of the Ducks are invited to California to play in the Junior Goodwill Games. Willow lives in Diana, Minnesota; she's childhood friends with her neighbor, Adam Banks. Adam is her only friend on the Hawks; at least, the only one who tolerates her. If anyone ever asked her, Willow would tell them that she would have rather been on any other team.
