One pair of scissors later you could pass as a boy. He tossed you some clothes and told you to follow. Gears. that's what they called you. you were quiet, but they could see you thinking almost. And no one knew your secret, besides Jack. It was well kept, besides the occasional blood stain on the sheets, but that could pass as a rough beating from the Delcancy Brothers. "Who did this to you?" *** It's a month after the strike, and everything is going great... until it's not. It starts with small arguments with newsies from the other boroughs, and only gets worse.
