5 years after graduating, the world has neatly labeled them as different people with different paths. Bakugo Katsuki is a pro hero forged by fire and headlines, still brilliant, still volatile-until one incident pushes his anger too far and leaves his hero license restricted. Midoriya Izuku, once the boy who chased him, now stands at the front of a classroom instead, a thoughtful U.A. teacher guiding the next generation. He has a steady life, a steady heart, and a relationship with Ochako that feels earned and safe. They haven't spoken in years. Maybe that was the point.
But fate has a way of reopening closed doors. Forced proximity brings old wounds to the surface: words never said, apologies never finished, and a bond that never fully broke no matter how hard they tried to outgrow it. What starts as inconvenience becomes tension, and tension turns into something heavier-confusing, electric, and painful in the messiest ways. Between anger management sessions, late-night silences, and memories that refuse to stay buried, they're left to face a question neither of them is ready to answer: who are they to each other now, when the past still knows their names?
