Shiv an aspiring architect, bumps into the snobbish, CEO Ann who runs a multi billion dollar, construction company, on a domestic flight, one stormy evening. In a twist of fate, he finds himself working for the evil woman; whom he finds to be obnoxious and inspiring at the same time. When an ultimatum is put in front of Ann,by her scheming cousins, to take over the company, Ann selfishly, choose to blackmail Shiv her naive, yet ambitious new employee into marrying her. Of course in return she was making him an offer that he couldn't say no to. After all herself and her company comes first! A bewildered, Shiv can't simply decide whether to kiss her, marry her, or to kill her!

It's a mob family, it will affect the story, but that's about it 2. Italics represent past conversations and internal conversations. 3. We wouldn't see much of Oberoi family as the story revolves around Shivaay being the one without parents and siblings and Annika with the mafia family.
