It's been three weeks since the Dragon war and Kaneki has to adjust to more then just fatherhood. He has to learn to manage PTSD and anxiety. (CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM TOKYO GHOUL RE)

It has been 5 months since the dragon war. Touka and Kaneki are raising there daughter, Ichika, while Japan is being rebuilt. However, with Kaneki's PTSD and anxiety and the racism plaguing the Japanese populous they will have to adjust to more then Just parenthood. (CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM TOKYO GHOUL RE) (This is a continuation of 'A New Battle', but you don't have to read that first)

Eventual Touken AU! Alone in the world at the mere age of six, Kaneki Ken is brought in by one of the most dangerous people in Tokyo, the leader of the notorious ghoul gang V, Shachi. He is trained until Shachi is captured by an organization devoted to exterminating ghouls and now Kaneki is alone once more, he flees to the place where he originated. He has witnessed his mother raped and murdered, he was turned into a half-ghoul, and he was tortured beyond the brink of insanity, you would think someone like that would be broken beyond repair, he is, but after meeting certain people in the café named Anteiku, his life suddenly seems like it could be fixed.

Well, this whole fanfic will take place in the months after Kaneki had left the 20th ward, leaving Touka alone with her feelings. Until now. Kaneki Ken, after going through mental and physical torture by Jason, was only left with the choice of accepting his ghoul side. Thus eliminating his senses of humanity and changing him completly. Touka Kirishima, meets kaneki after a whole month since the mission to rescue him, only to be surprised on how he changed in a small matter of time.
