No one else in the village knows what she is. The full moon was that night and when she had went out to the market she discovered someone had stolen her hood. Worried, panicking, night was falling, She took off towards the woods and that's all she remembers before she wakes up in her slaughtered village. Her grandmother has locked her up in her room, making sure she doesn't get out until the hood is found when she is visited by a shadow. The shadow takes her to Neverland where she is greeted by Peter Pan and her red hood in his hands.
