It all started with a tall, dark and handsome man at the bar, perfectly flirtatious and wickedly charming. But that man was not the man Astrid ended up in bed with that night. If only Astrid had a few more cocktails that night, she could have chalked it up to a drunken mistake with her over-protective best friend. It wasn't the booze, unfortunately, but the way he'd held her when they danced and the way his lips had captured hers and sent shivers down her spine. It wasn't that Astrid didn't believe in love, she'd just never felt it and kept her heart under lock and key until the right man came along she could trust. She trusted this man every single day of her life, but he was never meant to be this for her. He was never meant to explore every inch of her body or whisper words of seduction in her ear. Jonah Dawson was the last man she was allowed to fall into bed with or fall in love with. Not because he was her best friend, but because he was also her father's. And her godfather. 18+ Strong sexual content and language

Valora Anton is a trained, lethal assassin, and she's running for her life. No one-no one-had ever come close to catching her. But when the net finally closes, she's transferred to an island prison house in the Atlantic, a place known for its brutality. She's certain this is where her journey ends-until she realizes she's wrong. Phoenix Knight is the iron-fisted warden of Atlanta Prisonhouse, feared by every woman under his control. Ruthless, unforgiving, and unbending, he rules with an absolute hand, tormenting misbehaved prisoners without a second thought. His pleasure comes from their suffering, from breaking them, bending them to his will. But when Valora enters his domain, everything shifts. There's something about her-something sharp, dangerous, poisonous-that draws him in. On one hand, he's repulsed by her icy demeanor, her unyielding nature. On the other, he's irresistibly allured by her presence, by the fire that simmers beneath her calm exterior. For the first time in years, Phoenix is out of control. And he hates it. Valora is no ordinary prisoner, and Phoenix is no typical captor. Their dynamic is a volatile cocktail of aggression, manipulation, and raw tension. Each encounter between them ignites a new spark, a dangerous push-pull of venomous desire that neither of them can resist. They are two forces of destruction, locked in a dance that threatens to undo everything they've ever believed in. The real question is: How far will they go to destroy each other? And in the end, who will be left standing, and at what cost? [Second Book of the V-Series] A Standalone Novel Complete.

❝That's the thing about love. It isn't going to be easy, it isn't going to be smooth, but it's going to be worth it. Because sometimes you have to take the plunge. And you never know if you'll make it out again.❞ Maybe it's the way he looked at her that day in kindergarten or maybe it's the way he was there for her all those years. Whatever it was, somewhere along the way Kaylee fell for Dylan - hard. She soon realizes, however, that feelings can be misinterpreted and fate often doesn't play in her favor. When a rift forms between the two, all hope seems lost and Kaylee is forced to move on. But later, when fate finally decides to twist in her favor, Kaylee is given a second chance to fix their romance. As the two work through resetting their relationship, they soon learn that friendships often don't go as planned, relationships aren't actually that simple, and words are not always easily said. And in the end, everything may just crash and burn. ******************************************* Warning: Read at your own risk! This is my first story on Wattpad (which I wrote when I was 14), so you know what that means - cringe, plot holes, and errors. It's not the most well-written; there are decent chapters and bad chapters. I hope you decide to give this story a chance anyways, though.

Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. And to think, Summer’s biggest worry that weekend was waking up with a brutal hangover… ©makeandoffer
