The pair become closer than ever as they learn more about each other and she soon realizes that the work Wes does with pets isn't strictly in the clinic.

Love is messy and beautiful. I have been writing poems since I was a teenager. It was my escape. It was and still is a refuge. My 20's are behind me. This book is a small collection of love-related poems that encompass pretty much most of my feelings that I experienced during that decade of my life. I submitted this chapbook to Button Poetry's contest. If I actually happen to be a winner, I imagine I will have to take this down. Will keep you updated.
