Matthew lived. He was severely injured, but he lived. Once again he wondered if it would have been better if he had died. He has nothing to give. He had forgotten everything. This is a fanfic about Downton Abbey (specifically a Mary and Matthew love story). It is set just after Sybil dies. Also in this Matthew doesn't die in the crash, he just gets seriously injured. All characters are Julian Fellow's, not mine. The story is not completed but I have stopped writing it indefinitely.
