Amber Peterson is a fifteen year old girl living in probably the most boring life ever. When one day, after wishing for a better life, she is transported back to the mid 1960's finding a new life awaiting her. Wanting a fresh start, she makes up a background story and heads off to find some adventure. As she walks through this small town of Tulsa, she stumbles upon none other than Johnny Cade.
