Have you ever regretted something you’ve done so much that it physically hurts? I have. It’s like a constant ache in my chest. Have you ever had someone in your life that it so special to you that you think your chest might just burst open when you see them? I have… And I messed it up. I, Harry Styles, had to go and wreck it. Harry Styles had everything. He had a loving family, a good job and an amazing boyfriend, Louis. But he met someone who was slightly too edgy and dangerous to cope with, someone who gave him the easy route to 'fit in'. He got caught in a trap he didn’t like, but didn’t stop in time to escape. He let his one and only fall out of the love that filled every space of Harry's being. After three years in prison, can Harry fix all the torn edges he left when he went away? Or is it too late… DISCLAIMER: I don't own anyone in this story, it is purely fiction.

Detention is supposed to be a punishment, but for Louis and Harry, it's the start of something beautiful. Unfortunately, what starts off as a harmless love affair quickly takes a turn for the worse. Through all the stereotypes, judgments, family issues, and demons from the past, Louis and Harry struggle to stay strong. What happens in detention, stays in detention. [NOTE: I began writing this book in 2011 when I was 13 years old. There are many grammatical errors, cringe-worthy moments, and plot inconsistencies. Obviously, my writing has improved immensely since 2011, so please feel free to check out any of my more recent works instead. This book is not representative of my present-day writing abilities. I would prefer to delete this entirely (and its sequel), but there have been many readers who have expressed their love and appreciation for this book despite its flaws. Regardless, thank you all for your support with the Detention series over the past few years. I love and appreciate each and every one of you.]
