It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---

Needing to cool of he left the manor with a bag of clothes and fake ID in hand. Only problem, he never returned. No one has seen him in six years. Years ago, about six or seven, male teens all over Gotham went missing. Damian was, most likely, a victim to this. But, it's a good thing they both live double lives, with them fighting crime along side their father, the Batman himself, they take to the crime filled streets of Gotham City every night. The twins are a team, and always will be, with Jason being able to count on one hand the number of words Dick has spoken in his entire life, (him being selectively mute, and all) Dick needs Jason, and Jason needs Dick to keep him out of too much trouble and on the semi-right path. But, when Bruce forcefully encourages branching out of their comfort zone, he mentions a team of young heros that might do the troubled boys some good. ◇□DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN DC, thought that was pretty obvious□◇

Nightwing has been abandoned, first by his mentor, Bruce, then by Wally, his best friend, then by his second family, and now by everyone else. They blame him for what happened to Wally, they blame him for Kaldur almost dying, for Megan getting captured, for the destruction of the cave, and for keeping this all secret from them. Nobody asked him if he wanted to be left in charge, nobody asked him if he was alright during the invasion, nobody seemed to remember that he was only eighteen, nobody seemed to realize that he had to become Batman and protect Gotham along with Bludhaven , and nobody seemed to care about what their words did to him.
