After the explosion at the nasty burger, everyone Danny knew and cared about was dead. Danny fled the scene packing the little bags he had and headed to a place where he could retire. That place just happened to be Gotham city, where there were more than enough hero's to deal with the bad things that happen. What happens when the police finds Danny in a load of trouble and try contacting his only known relatives, Bruce Wayne. How will Danny learn to keep his secret? Superbat fic, what's not to love? I try to avoid angst, no cheating, no death, no big misunderstandings (no hurty ones anyways), ect. I love hurt/comfort and so because Batmans not indestructible he gets hurt a lot but I try not to make it angsty. Also this isn't meant to be hate for Flash it's just how I picture his character I might re-write this because my writing's imporved and also I have new headcanons about various characters in this.

Ben finally beats Vilgax, but with a huge cost. All of the people Ben loves is dead, Gwen, Kevin, Julie, his parents, Grandpa Max, there all dead. With Ben all alone with Ship at his side, he becomes depressed until he is transported to another world where he gains another family, will he learn to trust and be happy again or will the past come to haunt him. I got this idea from another story, but I forgot their username thing but credits to them. It has the same themes as them but different plot and worded differently.

(THIS STORY IS FINISHED! IF A STORY IS MARKED AS COMPLETED, ITS COMPLETED. STOP ASKING FOR A CONTINUATION) Imagine Danny goes to college in Gotham. Given his halfa nature, he's fairly not worried about most parts of Gotham and given he needs less sleep now, he likes to wander campus and Gotham itself like he's a natural Gothathes...at night like the half dead-half living man he was. During these wanderings, he finds pieces of bat tech from fights. He figures it's safer in his care(and because he's really curious about the local vigilantes) so...he takes it. It's usually just tiny things that the bats- probably -wouldn't even notice gone and he has things to fiddle with now. Unfortunately(for the bats), he finds Red Hood's destroyed helmet and takes it back to his dorm to fix, figuring it would allow him to return most of the items he snatched without a second thought. He doesn't realize it has an active tracker in it so the bats, when they activate it and discover it on the Gotham University campus, reasonably panic and flip on the camera...only to come face to face with adoption bait using bits of their missing tech to fix the helmet. (Warning: There is a brief scene of vomiting)
