The year is 2038. Belle (23), a frustrated robotics engineering student who has been wanting to leave the Philippines, her home country which is under a military rule sells her robot prototype in exchange for freedom and money. Upon hearing that the government will use her robot for their militaristic propaganda, she steals it and evacuates.
