Nico use to be best friends with Will. That is, until they moved. Until Nico's mom and sister died. Nico's father left when he was born, so he was alone now. He goes to an orphanage, where he made a friend name Percy, who is only five years old. Percy's sure to be adopted soon, and Nico will miss him when he is. Unfortunately, also at the orphanage is Octavian the homophobe. When Will moves into Nico's town, what will happen? Will they even remember that they used to be best friends? Read to find out.

But eventually, pressure got the best of me, and I opened my eyes. Laying directly over my chest was none other than the one that has stopped the bullet from going straight through my heart and killing me; the one thing that had kept me alive. "WILL!"'

This is the sequel to Unattainable, so read that first if you haven't already. War has ripped two previously happy kingdoms apart. One is now in ruin, owned by the other, which has grown prosperous and more tolerant under it's new king, Will Solace. He is a benevolent ruler with an beautiful wife and a strong kingdom. His life seems perfect. Nico Di Angelo is still a fugitive. Him and his friends stay far away from others, only approaching civilisation when necessary. When they find themselves in Will's kingdom and are attacked, the only logical plan anyone can think up is to take the king is taken hostage. In hindsight, it's probably not a good idea to end up stuck with your worst enemy. Especially one who still loves you.

Solangelo high school au Usually Will Solace doesn't have problems finding friends, but this time everything is different. He gets in a fight his very first day at the new school and he meets Nico di Angelo. Just slowly he understands why the boy keeps pushing everyone away, how broken he is and what he feels for him. Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? As time goes on they learn that maybe they aren't so different after all. Characters belong to Rick Riordan, but the plot and all that belong to me. Also, none of the art belongs to me, I just find it on the interweb. I did make the cover, but again, images were not mine. I can't draw to save my life. (65,742 words)

nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

So this is my first attempt at writing fan-fiction, though I have read enough to send me to the Fields of Punishment for all of eternity. This was originally for an English project heroes journey thing but the max was 1500 words and no way could I do that so I thought I'd do something here. Hope you enjoy!
