Being ill & impoverished is nothing new to Skye Palmner- the upsurge in a radioactive wasteland made sure of that. Skye Palmner isn't exactly enthusiastic, she's more so dubious, as she holds no trust for the Government. When they take her and her mates away from their Children's Home and to the Research Facility, Skye's doubts are augmented. She senses that something sinister is boiling beyond the surface, and what exactly is happening to those who get "treated"? She won't ever know until it's her turn.
