This is the original, unedited version of Light as a Feather, Book #1. This book was the inspiration for the Hulu Original Series. The revised version is now available in bookstores throughout the USA & Canada from Simon Pulse. McKenna Brady thinks her junior year of high school is going to be the best ever when she's welcomed into the elite group of popular girls at Weeping Willow High School led by blonde, gorgeous Olivia Richmond. Prior to junior year, McKenna was known in her small town as the girl whose twin sister died in a tragic house fire, and she's overjoyed at the prospect of redefining her identity. She has a date to the Homecoming dance with Olivia's handsome older brother, and a good chance of being elected to student council. For the first time since McKenna's parents divorced, things are looking up. But everything changes the night of Olivia's Sweet Sixteen sleepover birthday party. Violet, the shy, mysterious new girl in town, suggests that the girls play a scary game called Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, during which Violet makes up elaborate stories about the future ways in which beautiful Olivia, brassy Candace, and athletic Mischa will die. The game unsettles McKenna because she's already escaped death once in her life, but she doesn't want to ruin her friends' fun. It's only a game, she reminds herself.

Yet somehow, this lost-looking woman ignites something within him; a place that has been dark and uncaring ever since he was a little boy. He knows he is playing with an emotional fire, and will more than likely only get his fingers badly burnt. Yet still, Cade finds himself unable to leave this woman alone. He knows he should. There's a story behind every person. There's a reason why they're the way they are. They aren't just like that because they want to. Something in the past created them, and sometimes it's impossible to fix them. Everly Adams has a different story than most teenagers would like to admit. She's stepping into a new phase of her life with just her older sister to care for her. Life can get a little bit tricky if you just got kicked out of the house. Why? Just keep on reading my dear reader. Liam Wells has a cliché story. He's rich, school's bad boy, leader of the D&D's ( Devils Deciple ) and he's got the looks of course. But no cliché boy has a story like his. It all starts with a chicken nugget. It's amazing what a chicken nugget can do. Follow the rollercoaster that's waiting for the both of them. Drama, loss and humor all combined in one adventure. This is : Long Story Short, The Condom Broke By: prinses1010 Word count (108,000 words) Currently being edited!!! “Summer, I think we should break up,” my boyfriend of two and a half years tells me one day after our usual Sunday night dinner with my family. I nearly choke on my general tso’s chicken and immediately start a very embarrassing and very unattractive coughing fit. When I’m sure my airway is clear again, I reach for my glass of water and chug it down quickly. I turn to him and stare. “Excuse me?” I couldn’t have heard him right. He shifts in his seat awkwardly and looks down at his hands and continues to speak to me. “I think we should see other people.” I feel as if the wind has been knocked out of me and I try to remember how to breathe again. “Y-you want to see other people?” Wow. I didn’t see this coming. He looks back up at me, tearing eyes away from his suddenly interesting fingernails and meeting my eyes he says, “Yeah. I mean, don’t you agree? Think about it. We’re gonna to be seniors this year. It’s our last year to actually live before we go off to college and everything changes. Don’t you want the full experience?” When Summer’s boyfriend Matt drops a bomb on her wants to break up the day before school starts back, she’s more than thrown through a loop. She had everything planned for senior year down to the very last detail and a break-up was not in the cards. Now with her perfect plans are in turmoil she must reconstruct her entire year without the one person who was included in everything. No boyfriend, check. One crazy best friend, check. A whole year free from being tied down, check. Throw in a break-in, a party at her hot neighbor’s house, lying to her parents, and an almost arrest and well…things are gonna be just that crazy. My name is Summer Elise Morgan and this is gonna be a year to remember.

She quickly learns that no matter what she does he's never gonna leave her alone. Why? Well, she doesn't even know the answer to that. When her best friend Farrah starts dating this bad boy's friend she knows that the countless run in's and unwanted conversations are inevitable and tries to find a way to not kill her self. Figuratively speaking of course. This is nothing compared to what she would go through. This bad boy has taken a genuine interest in her and it has nothing to do with her clumsiness in the kitchen. There is something about her that just draws him in. And as much as Olivia tries to fight the connection, she can never seem to erase him from her mind. Not that Thomas would even think about letting her anyway. Can Thomas convince her that maybe Bad Boy's are her type after all? ****Spin-off of The Bad Boy is Possessive. It is NOT necessary to read TBBIP to understand this book.****
