Revenge. I'm familiar with it. You have to be when you're the firstborn son of a notorious mafia leader. Death and vengeance have been the very foundations of my life. So who in their fucking mind would be stupid enough to cross me? My brother and I have been wrongfully convicted of a crime we didn't commit. We know who is behind this. We bid our time behind bars, planned and prepared for the day we got out. Now we're free and hungry for redemption. I know what must be done. I know whose blood will be spilled. But before I go after him, I'll go after his daughter. I never said I play fair. *Book one in the Marino Brothers Duet. Rated 18+ due to explicit language, sex, and violence.*

"So you're saying that if I kissed you right now, you wouldn't feel anything?" He asked, taking slow, purposeful steps closer to me, but I couldn't go farther back as I felt an obstruction behind me, a desk. "Uh...totally," I cussed myself for stuttering. "Okay then, let's test that theory, shall we?" And his lips landed on mine. Sam and Ryan had been best friends when they were little and couldn't do without each other. They pinky swore they would never leave each other, but then Sam moved, breaking that promise. And now she's back, and Ryan isn't entirely happy to see her. Bookcover by @userpewpew

Raven Zheng is definitely not crazy. At least - that's what she tells herself. It's hard to believe that when no one else can see what you see. You see, Raven can see the dead. Ghosts, if you will. #1 in Jealousy "I don't get it!" I yell while hurrying to catch up with him. "You don't need to get it!" he hisses out, not sounding tired after jogging for 20 minutes straight. While I on the other hand am heaving for my breath. "Why are you so hell bent on finding out who kissed you at Trevor's stupid party?!" No response. "It was just a kiss!" I try again. He stops up abruptly, turning around in a swift motion glowering down at me. I gulp. "Just a kiss?!" he whispers, I nod my head hesitantly. "JUST A KISS?!" I shrink back. He inches closer, his heavenly built towering over me. Forehead to forehead, nose to nose...disappointingly not mouth to mouth... I lick my lips slowly. He looks down, gulping before slightly moving away. "Just a kiss." I confirm. His blazing eyes find mine again. "No, it was not just a kiss! Maybe for her, but not for me!" "Why not?!" I press on. "BECAUSE SHE STOLE MY FIRST KISS!!" I gasp loudly, staggering back. His fingers graze his lips slowly before he snaps out of it, turns around and storms away. This time I don't bother following him, I am in shock. I Accidentally Stole The Bad Boy's First Kiss... ••• Completed | ✓ Unedited (Read at your own risk)
