„Tak co? Líbilo se ti to?" zeptal se odporně slizkým hlasem muž, tyčící se nad postavou drobného chlapce. Chlapec neodpověděl. Zarytě mlčel a propaloval pohledem podlahu, třásl se. Během chvíle na jeho tvář dopadla rána, která ho následně poslala obličejem k chladné zemi. „Na něco jsem se tě ptal!" zasyčel muž a za vlasy vytáhl chlapce zpět na nohy. Chlapec se na něj konečně podíval. „Ano, můj pane," zašeptal rozechvělým hlasem, „moc se mi to líbilo." Usmál se. Usmíval se i přes slzy, skrz které nemohl nic vidět. Usmíval se i přes bolest, kterou mu způsoboval každý nádech. Usmíval se, protože věděl, že i přes to všechno se nikdy nesmí přestat smát.
