At the age of ten he was summoned to a new world that was home to some 'people' who were also from earth. After arriving Izuku eventually realized that he had been granted a special skill and his body was now quite different. He became the ward of a certain Demon Lord who had also called Japan his home once upon a time and it was he who interrupted the ritual to curse him to obey orders given by his summoners, He lived in his new world for eight years learning about his Skill's and Magicules that now existed in his body but never lost the desire to go home. One day his Lord and Protector found a way to send him home with all his Skills intact. After arriving back on Earth he set his mind on doing all he could to save people's lives as a Hero. Saiba Jochiro was lost after the death of his wife and he had no passion for cooking. One day while out he encounters a boy named Izuku Yagi who ran away from home due to neglect and abuse. Saiba saw this as a sign from his wife to become better. He took the young boy into his home and he gave him a family that could love him. Izuku saw the passion that Saiba and Soma had for cooking that he gave up his dream of being a hero. He decided to become a cook and bring smiles through his food thus he became a cook.
