Kirin, a young amnesiac, discovers himself at a forest with no particular path to follow, ending up finding a bustling kingdom, Sanctum. A place he considered safe, and was accepted in despite an enigmatic background, eventually learned to be a war zone. Retreating to another "safe haven", he sets himself a goal to finding his memories.
