If everyone would just stop. Let him burn. Let him go. The pain would cease and he would finally be free. Something within him, a small voice, corrected this thought. I will never be free from this pain. His actions, his choices would haunt him for as long as he lived. "Ben?" A soft voice spoke. He did not want to answer her. To the name he did not deserve, but he could not stop himself. "What do you want?" --><-- Did you watch The Last Jedi and wonder what exactly was going on in Kylo's mind? My dear reader your search is over! Out of desperation I wrote the scenes from The Last Jedi from Kylo's perspective (at least my take on it) and continued the story beyond Episode 8! Will Rey succeed in turning Ben? Can he ever truly turn to the Light? Or will his demons keep him in the dark? Kylo Ren. Ben Solo. Whatever you prefer to call him this is his story. NOTE: Say Something is the last part concerning TLJ everything after that point is from my own imagination and speculation moving forward. I've never written FanFic before and I'm trying something new! Also obvious SPOILER warning for this story. Either way enjoy loves This is my first story! Please go easy on me. "Kylo don't go" she didn't know what else to say but she felt that if he left now they would never speak again. And as much as she had pushed him away, the reality was that she was drawn to him more and more each day. She knew she needed a teacher, but deep in her heart she knew she needed him for more than that. This takes place 6 months after TLJ. Rey and Kylo are trying to understand their connection, but it's much harder than either of them can understand. Hux is of course a weasel and Poe and Finn, well I'll let you guys decide. It's complete!!

Over the past year, Ben has changed considerably, becoming disillusioned by the First Order and implementing a plan to end the war with the Resistance as its victors. Now, ready to execute the last step of his plan, he has to confront Rey once again. Unfortunately, she has her own opinions about his lofty plan. In this story, it turns out Snoke wasn't lying and he really did create the connections between Kylo Ren and Rey in "The Last Jedi." (Note: This also means there was no Force connection between them on Crait since Snoke was dead by then.) So, there is no Force bond and there's no special link between the two of them. But...that doesn't mean they weren't profoundly affected by the experience. Excerpt: He knew the moment she noticed him, felt it like a stab to his core through the Force. He saw the fierce determination in her eyes and he tried to match it, but was certain he failed. All he could feel was sorrow. The tempo of his steps increased as he covered the ground toward her. He watched as she turned her body toward him, bringing her magnificent dual-bladed, bright white lightsaber to bear, her lips pulling back in a vicious sneer as she sought what she had yet to realize he was here to offer her willingly. Deflecting one last bolt and seeing her raise her weapon with the start of a battle cry intended to lend her extra strength, Ben thumbed his lightsaber off and dropped to his knees at her feet, his head bowed and his eyes closed. Do it, he thought desperately. End me. End my misery.

Determined to find her and bring her home to their children, Ben searches the galaxy for her, never imagining that, once he finally finds her, she'd have no idea who he is...
