It's been seven years since the Hollow was imprisoned inside the Mikaelsons and five years since Klaus decided to keep his distance from Nina, Hope and Kenner to keep them safe. After being away for two years, Nina moved back to New Orleans to help Vincent, Freya and Josh run the city in peace and is now the leader the Crescent Wolf Pack after Hayley names her Alpha so she can build a life with Elijah in France. Nina Chase has been a part of the Mikaelson family for 8 years, she even fell in love and recently married the Original Hybrid, Klaus. After imprisoning The Hollow, the Mikaelson family was forced to divide and never see each other ever again. Nina was left with the most difficult decision of her life - to leave her home, her family and everyone she loves. Nina and Hope relocate to Mystic Falls to start their new life. Hope attends the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted while Nina tries to live her life without Klaus. Then Nina discovers that she is pregnant again - the second miracle fathered by Klaus. Soon, Nina struggles with how her vampire side could affect her unborn child and if she should tell Klaus. She knew how hard it was for him to leave Hope, but what would happen if he learns that he has another child? Would he come running back with The Hollow still inside him? Nina Chase has dealt with a lot of pain in her life but nothing compares to the pain of losing her daughter. Now a hybrid, she has an eternity to learn to deal with her pain. She fights alongside Klaus and Elijah to make New Orleans a safe home but there is also a war waging within Nina that she struggles with - her feelings for both brothers.

"What? Are you gonna tell me that Sam is alive?" She asks. "Yes." Dean sighs. "Sam is alive." "He's back?" Elena says. "I don't want to see him." Dean looks taken back. "What do you mean you don't want to see him?" He asks. "Do you know how long it took for me to get over him?" Elena asks. "I had to see a therapist, Dean. A therapist." "You don't think I was shocked when I found out?" Dean asks. "I'm just as shocked as you are." Elena straightens up. "How long has he been back?" She asks. "A year?" "A year?" Elena repeats. "And he never came back to get me. Wow." She says lamely. "He thought he was protecting you." Dean says. Elena looks angry. "He could've picked up the phone and called me!" She yells. "Don't shoot the messenger, I found out not too long ago." Dean says. "That's why I need you to come with me so you can both-" "I'm not going." Elena says. "What do you mean you're not going?" Dean asks. "Yes you are." "I spent literally half of my time here trying to get over him dying." Elena says. "I can't look him in the eye." "So you're not coming." "I'm sorry Dean." Elena says. "But it was really good to see you." » It's been a year since Sam risked his life and fell into the pit with Lucifer. All Elena wanted to do was give up. Dean had moved in with Lisa and seemed to be happy. Left with no other option, Elena decides to track him down. Just when things were finally getting right, Sam is back, but he's different. Sam and Elena ran as fast as they could. They both hoped they made it in time. She turned a corner and heard grunts, and began frantically running. When she made it, she saw him. Dean was on the ground, leaning against a wall. Metatron leaned over him with an Angel blade. "No!" Elena yells. But it was too late. Metatron grinned at her as he thrusted the blade into Dean's chest. An exasperated breath left Dean's lips. He turned to look at Elena, his face covered in blood. She ran to his side just as Metatron left. She held his head in her hands. "No." She says. Dean continued to stare. Elena knew what this meant. He was going to die. He tried to say something, but it wouldn't come out. "I love you." She tells him. Sam just watches the moment unfold. He smirks a little. "I-I..." He starts but Elena shushes him. "I know." She says. His eyes began to close and she felt tears streaming down her face. Sam, frozen, finally made his way to them. He pushes Elena away, for her own protection. Elena backs away against a wall as Sam placed a cloth over Dean's chest. After that, she couldn't hear anymore. She couldn't see anymore. "Please don't leave me." Elena manages to say, tears overwhelming her now. Dean looks over at her again. She couldn't live without him. » It's been days since the Trials and it has put Sam in the hospital. Dean has no idea what he's going to do, so he enlists the help of an angel Ezekiel. To make matters worse, Elena and her boyfriend are intruding on Dean's life. And he doesn't like it. Now that Abbadon is free, the only way to kill her is with the First Blade. To find it, Sam, Dean & Elena rely on the one person they loathe. Crowley. But as always, everything comes with a price.
