Dauntless has created an image for Eric after an incident during his initiation and no one knows the real him nor do they want to know the real him. When it is time for new initiates, he has to overlook their training as part of his leader training. When an Amity transfer gets a little too close to Eric, she wants to know who he really is, NOT the ruthless leader image he projects to be. Eric doesn't know how to react because no one has ever tried to get close to him before so how should he react? Will he react in a good or bad way?
