A country where you get killed for liking the same gender. {{There are actual countries like this}} Dan Howell has lived half of his life in fear, closed in and not aloud to share his thoughts. Daniel Howell was gay. He knew he was probably the only person like this in the school. Talking to people was a trouble to Dan. He was scared to accidentally expose himself for one of the most illegal things in the country. This town specifically, was known for having the harshest people. Sometimes it felt like Dan was the only person to exist with these feelings. He wished he could run away but he's too scared to. His self esteem isn't awful, but it's getting worse. He's alone. Phil is a vampire who believes that humans and night creatures should live amongst each other in harmony. Dan is a vampire hunter, part of the clan, and believes that vampires like Phil don't exist.
