EDITING IN PROCESS When Haruka returns to her hometown after walking away from basketball, she expects a quiet reset - new school, old friends, no courts, no pressure. Instead, she walks straight into Fujisawa High's obsession: basketball, reputation, and a rookie team chasing a championship they can't afford to lose. Hiro, her childhood friend, is now the team's disciplined captain - steady, loyal, and safe.
Ji-Yong Kang, the team's explosive new transfer, is everything Haruka promised herself to avoid - reckless, magnetic, and carrying a past that refuses to stay buried. As rivalries turn violent, rumours spread, and the stakes climb from school halls to national finals, Haruka is forced back into the game she swore she'd never touch again - not as a player, but as the one holding everything together. In a season where every mistake has consequences, Haruka must decide:
play it safe, or risk everything - her heart, her future, and the game she still loves. Because in basketball - and in life - the playmaker doesn't always take the shot.
She decides who gets the ball.

The vast majority of the writing I have seen on this website is worth less than the change I left upon your mother's nightstand. That means that, by statistical likelihood, your writing probably sucks too. Not in whole, mind you, but when it comes to a few of the trickier bits, you find yourself staring at a blank screen and scowling like a madman. I, on the other hand, am damned good at this writing stuff. So, out of the bottomless generosity of my heart, I decided to try and help your plebeian self. Plot exposition, character development, show versus tell, and all the little things that experienced writers know already. These are the secrets I'll drop on your lap in a vain attempt to make you learn a thing or two. I'm tired of reading all the crap on this site; don't let your work be part of it.
