Hier ontmoet Liz Zayn. Een mysterieuze jongen met een nog mysterieuzer verhaal. Hij staat bekend als de "badboy" van de school en alle meisjes willen met hem naar bed. Liz voelt zich vanaf dag één aangetrokken tot Zayn, maar ze zijn absoluut het tegenover gestelde: Zayn doet aan drugs, seks een feestjes, terwijl Liz zich veel liever bezig houd met literatuur, kunst en biologie.
