Suite au renversement des pays s'est instauré un mode de vie unique où une seule entreprise existe : "WorldCenter". Celle-ci contrôle tout : eau, électricité, éducation des enfants, absolument tout. Un jour, les centrales électriques WorldCenter de tous les continents ont simultanément explosé, éradiquant presque la totalité de la population. Comment de "simples" explosions auraient-elle pu engendrer de tels résultats ? Car outre les morts, il y a aussi les rares survivants, désormais dotés de facultés pour le moins ... spéciales... Et si la vérité cachait un mensonge bien plus sombre ? Et si la bêtise humaine n'avait aucune limite, quitte à s'éliminer elle-même pour arriver à ses fins ?
