Zelda, the governor's daughter, is an aspiring author who can only write in coffee shops. Forced by her father to move away from Central, and her beloved coffee shop, she must find a replacement. She finds this in "Hyrule Coffee," owned by a kind young man her own age. When he proposes a deal to her, how will it change both of their lives? Story is the fluffiest I've ever written, but it also has much deeper subjects. It changes drastically near the end. For centuries this land has been a democracy, but few actually know just what is going on behind the scenes. What use are the old tales when no one even believes in magic anymore? Zelda is a girl who lives her life trapped within the walls of her family's mansion. She only leaves to go to school, and there she meets someone who will quite literally change her life forever. They were never actually even suppose to meet... she was just suppose to be a hylian princess, and he, was suppose to be a forest boy. But somehow they did, almost as if they were meant to be together, as if... the goddesses themselves wanted them to. How could they meet and why did they decide to meet? Why did Zelda trust the boy who snuck into the castle courdyard! Why did they even become best friends? Why did it end?! It's been four years since the boy had left when they where children, that boy- Link, now suddenly comes back into her life, but is she really ready to see him again after how it ended? It doesn't seem like there's a choice, when he's assigned as your knight. However, the more time that he's there, the more realizes- there's something bigger at play. Though before Zelda knows it, she's thrust into his world and she's a bigger part of it then she would have ever thought. ▲•▲•▲• AU of child timeline| When Link went back in time they didn't have enough evidence to execute Ganon, but he ended up fleeing back to the gerudo desert. Navi told him what happened to her when they went back in time (It's the Navi dies theory) so Link didn't go looking for her. Instead, he stayed in Hyrule, ending up becoming best friends with Zelda.

What could be better than to have your name recognized everywhere throughout the high seas? Nothing. At least until your life is troubled by a stowaway squirming his way onto your ship. Even after defeating the Calamity, the darkness never seems to fade away. Link and Zelda have started to move on with their lives, but some scars never truly heal. A one-shot set after the events of BotW! Spoilers about the end of the game!
