Act 1 Dick Grayson has not had an easy life. It all started when his parents died then Bruce Wayne adopted him. After finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman he became Robin to get revenge on the people who killed his parents and to help stop crime. Life was good for a while. He helped Batman fight crime and soon created his own team with his best friends Wally and Kladur. One night the team was deployed on a mission to rescue a few hostages. Everything was going as planned until the team bumped into some unexpected company. Deathstroke and Bane managed to take down the entire team and kidnap Robin before the team could call for backup. 5 years later Dick comes back with a new friend and is bloodthirsty. He wants revenge against his old mentor who let both Jason and him down. Will Bruce and Dick's friends be able to save him or will they have to take down him down for good. (Editing)

Nightwing has been overly stressed after the Invasion. Wally was saved due to the Scarab's warning and everything went back to, relatively, normal. But... Nightwing is scorned by nearly everyone due to the mental strain and severe danger he brought upon everyone. Was he forgiven? By some but not really those that matter to his own mental state. Barbra and Tim still feel betrayed by them... and Wally is still angry with him for putting Artemis's life on the line like that. But with all this stress and guilt... well... not even Nightwing is invincible.

This fanfiction is set directly after the end of season two of Young Justice. Nightwing/Dick leaves the team and goes out on his own, solo as a hero but things quickly go wrong when he becomes the center of attention for Deathstroke and The Court of Owls. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?

Dick has been free from Deathstroke, the JLA and the young justices grasps for almost 3 months now and has never been happier. He has settled with Jason, Roy and now Kayla in a summer house, and as they learn to confide and trust eachother, they become closer. Will Dick be able to move on from his past and finally be able to make amends with his friends or will he be too scared to? Will Deathstroke get his hands on Dick, or will Deathstrokes plans that are set in motion, be turned against him? How will this play out for Dick and the rest of them? Can his trusted ones save him from his fate or will Dick succumb to what he has always been afraid of?SEQUEL TO THE BLIND BIRD!!!!
