Jesse thought all her adventures were behind her. After settling down with her two best friends, their lives were nothing more than a cycle of the same, quiet events. And it was fantastic. But of course that wasn't going to last. Because a whole new adventure was growing in their back yard, in the form of a mysterious, dark purple plant.

Haunting nightmares, a mysterious letter, and not to mention the voices inside her head are only the beginnings of something much bigger and far more frightening than Jesse thinks. When a new threat targeting HER arrives at Beacon Town, Jesse decides that the best way to handle her problems would be to do it alone in order to prevent anyone from getting hurt in the process. But will her own stubbornness stop her friends from intervening? But while everyone is still forgetting her, another evil is rising from the ashes of the mistakes of the old order, and might just destroy the world. Who knows, maybe they will need help from some old friends to finish off this monster.

All Jesse ever wanted was to be loved by her father, but he harbours a strong disdain towards her. She was considered bad luck after her mother died from an illness that she caught after giving birth to her. When he plans to assassinate her, she escapes from her castle in order to seek asylum. However, she may not be finding the sanctuary she hopes for in the wilderness of the outside world. After all, her existence is a crime, and such a crime be punishable by death. Can she hope to avoid such a fate, or is there no possible way to escape? Later chapters contain (very) dark, suggestive themes/psychological horror, graphic violence and gore. Read at your own risk.
