Partly a romance novel and partly an allegorical novel, Love Twist presents a picture of how unexpected things that occur in our life which we don't anticipate for. But throughout, the novel is a poignant portrayal of love, loss, yearning, humour, revelation and finally redemption, while depicting the uncanny survival spirit of its protagonist.
