Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling. This plot is purely fan fiction. The story is set during the last book, HP and the Deathly Hallows when the Golden Trio were hunting for Voldemort's horcruxes. When Ron left Harry and Hermione during their search for horcruxes, something unexpected happens to the two remaining friends. What will they do without Ron? Will they be still friends or more than that? When Ron comes back for them, what will happen?

Hermione liked Harry since the first day they saw each other. His dazzling eyes. His messy hair. She admired him for a long time. She didn't have enough courage to tell him because she's afraid she might hurt Ron and be rejected by Harry. Will she ever have enough courage to tell Harry what she really feels? Or will she keep her feelings to herself?

Voldemort is gone and the war has finally been won. With a new era, comes new leadership. The war had more than taken it's tole on the golden trio, and Harry was worn, tired and filled with sadness and grieving. He felt so much sorrow, and had no idea what to do with it. The Weasley's had taken a month or so to get back to their somewhat normal selves... but not everyone was the same. And you can't after all of the losses that they had dealt with. But Harry feels something heal whenever he is around Hermione. She had always known what to do and what the right thing to say was, and that was one thing that hadn't changed. But he started to get distant to Ginny and gravitate towards Hermione, who seemed to be one of the only people capable of making him happy.
