Adalynn moves from Iowa to LA for a job opportunity she could not pass up. While shopping at Ikea for furniture for her new apartment Adalynn meets her Mystery Man. Over time the two become closer and closer but something about this man is still a huge mystery to her. Usually it isn't a big deal when people hide parts of their lives from others, but this was something Adalynn felt like she needed to know.

I finally get to get the hell out of this damn apartment after 4 months. If I can get a job at least, I need the money. I would do youtube, but I wanna make friends and get out, even though I'm shy. I could get use to it, I'm 24. I look at my twitter to see if any of my favorite youtubers said anything about a video. One by Matthias catch's my eye. "We're hiring! Fill out this application and choose your spot now!" I scream mentally and immediately apply. Once I'm done, I wait.

An account on Instagram spreads around the school with an owner that remains anonymous. Students begin messaging the account with the necessary information, receiving a number they don't recognize. Y/n's friend convinced her to jump on the bandwagon and talk to an unnamed student from her school. Once she begins communicating with the unidentified teen, she can't seem to stop.
