Pidge and Keith became best friends after an incident in kindergarten. They were inseparable ever since. They were even part of a very popular group in school known as The P.A.L.A.D.I.N.S. Lance, Hunk, Allura, Pidge, and Keith were all best friends since childhood. But will all that change when Pidge starts to have some unexpected feelings for the biggest flirt in the school, and her best friend. What happens when they both start to feel the same. If you ask Keith how he met Katie Holt, he would tell you that he met her at a mutual friend's wedding a few years ago, and that one thing had led to another, and that eventually they settled down together with a child. However, that was far from the truth. You see, Keith had met Katie under some...special circumstances. How they became a couple, though, was an interesting, complicated long story that involved getting out of a screwed relationship and a special first meeting. "You fell off the roof of your house when you were having a lightsaber fight with your roommate at three in the morning?" She asked incredulously, looking at her patient over the rim of her glasses. "When you put it that way, it makes me sound really stupid," Keith replied sheepishly.

For as long as Katie "Pidge" Holt could remember, the house next door had been occupied by an old lady. At the age of five she found herself with new neighbors that lived next door, two parents with two boys. What caught her eye was the youngest boy, his behavior captivating her at the age of 5 all the way until her high school years. But even after all those years of forming a friendship with Keith, their friendship was going to be put to the ultimate test when a not so nice boy with not so great intentions gets between their relationship and things spiral out of control quickly. Senior year of high school, dealing with her neighbor and feelings was going to be the death of her and she knew it.
