England 1847-1852. Born to an English gentleman and a common French dancer, Adrian Blackford is a mischevious yet ambitious painter. He adamantly chooses to constantly clash with high society and refuses to make the least effort to live by its rules. He was cursed with an itch to stir up trouble and to trifle with the feelings of every woman loved by another man. The abandonment of the only true love he had known since childhood forces him to try to take hold of his life, but, instead, he falls prey to the vindictive scheme of a powerful trader and finds himself thrown into extreme poverty and deserted by his family. His journey to find liberty and fulfillment leads him to the realization that the women in his life had the power to either break or make him. *** Copyright © 2018 by Anan Tello Cover by José Manuel Bethencourt Suaréz www.jmbeth.com *** * The story has made the top 10 in Wattpad's Historical Awards * Highest Ranks Achieved: #1 out of 25 in SETBACKS #2 out of 57 in HAMPSHIRE #312 out of 1.65K in ENGLAND #20 out of 134 in DISAPPOINTMENTS *** All rights reserved. * 2017 WATTY WINNER!* Blurb: Humans are at the top of the food chain and always have been. But what if they weren't? What if another took our place and decided to raise and exploit us as we have every other animal on earth? Welcome to a world after humanity... No one is exactly certain where the sibla came from. Some say they evolved from humans long ago, slowly taking power as their numbers increased. Taller, stronger, and longer-lived, than homo sapiens it isn't too hard to imagine. Now humans must face a reality in which they are no more than animals, domesticated beasts bred for their master's various needs and hungers. Rachel Turner is only eight years old. Born in Demin, one of the last remaining free human settlements on earth, she has never been forced to face the reality of life under a sibla Master, living a carefree existence in her hidden village. Magnus Kendrick is a sibla farmer with a sizable estate on which he raises all manner of livestock, from chickens, to sheep, to...humans. He is also the man destined to purchase Rachel's life. *Warning: This book contains a certain degree of gore and disturbing themes Beautiful cover by @my_fairytale 2016 Fright Fest Gold Winner Cryptic's Choice 2017 WATTY Winner ( Story Smiths category) *All Rights Reserved

In Book I of the trilogy, Tamras, our hero, arrives in Merin’s house to begin her apprenticeship as a warrior, but her small stature causes many, including Tamras herself, to doubt that she will ever become a competent swordswoman. To make matters worse, the Lady Merin assigns her the position of companion, little more than a personal servant, to a woman who came to Merin’s house, seemingly out of nowhere, the previous winter, and this stranger wants nothing to do with Tamras. Tamras’s journey begins with the smallest of steps. She sets aside her disappointment and performs as well as she can the humble tasks given her, and eventually she succeeds in winning the trust and then the friendship of the cantankerous warrior to whom she has been assigned. In the first year of her journey, Tamras will make a series of choices that often seem insignificant, but they will flow from her character and from her good intentions, and they will determine her destiny.

Octavia Sorrell, the Countess of Kendall, had been forced into marriage by her father and brother when she was only fifteen years old. Just after her sixteenth birthday, she gave birth to twins; Charles and Olivia. Two years later, after Lord Kendall's scandalous death, and fearing the gossip it had caused her, she began to live the life of a recluse, only visiting her closest neighbours, Sir Freddie Sommerville and his wife and old school friend, Katie. However, when Charles was ten years old and woefully underprepared for the vigours of an English aristocratic education at Eton, Freddie, who was also her son's guardian persuades her to employ a tutor for her son, to prepare him for school. Captain Alexander Fallbrook, after returning a hero from the battle of Waterloo, was living the life of a libertine. His family, embarrassed by his latest exploits, decided that the best course of action was to send him far away from London. His mother, the Countess of Huntingdon, heard of a position as a tutor for a young lad in Yorkshire, far away from the temptations of town, and she encouraged him to apply for the position. When Alex arrived in Yorkshire, he was somewhat taken by the beautiful young Countess and decided that his time in the country may not be as dull as he first expected. However, as he became better acquainted with the young widow, he recognised a fellow soul in torment. Can Alex overcome four years of guilt, or will he be unable to let go of the past to embrace his future?

WATTYS 2016 WINNER! - Writer's Debut Category **A Wattpad Featured story!!!** What's a lady to do... Lady Charlotte has never been the typical English lady. Nor does she intend to be when her uncle makes a bid to inherit everything - the land, the money. All that had been her father's a decade before. So when her uncle forces the issue, Charlotte knows her time is up. She is making her move. As the poor gentleman, Charlie. In two weeks' time, she plans to take control of her future while stripping her uncle of his. When she meets her match... Lord Greyson, the Earl of Claymore, can't seem to forget the mysterious lady he saved from being compromised, only for her to punch him in the face and descend a balcony to be rid of him. He doesn't expect to meet her again so soon, and not like this. As a lad who looks distinctly familiar, with a sharp tongue and a spirit that demands independence. What else is Greyson to do but watch over his little caterpillar, offering her safety and employment in his stables? It's the perfect solution. Or so he thinks. And finds herself falling in love... What neither one of them expects is the sexual tension that ignites between them. What's a girl to do when she finds herself falling for her employer. And that he seems to feel the same...for his stable hand. But that's the least of their problems as a common enemy threatens to tear them apart, one that has no intention of letting either one of them off the hook. It's winner take all - breeches edition.
