The Selection. A once in a lifetime chance to come to the palace, meet and fall in love with the handsome Prince Perseus Jackson. Or in Annabeth's eyes, the chance to possibly, maybe, fall in love with her best friend. She found a loophole, and because of that loophole she's caught up in the world of dating, jealousy and betrayal. She took a massive leap of faith. Does Percy feel the same way? Will she be rejected? Will the life long friendship be ruined? All because she wanted more in their relationship? Follow Annabeth Chase on the journey of the Selection that brings new feelings, new friends, and new obstacles to get through. Maybe after she won't be Annabeth Chase, daughter of General Fredrick Chase, but Queen Annabeth Jackson of Illèa. " the old gods were dying " Shadows had followed Annabeth Chase her entire life. They leaked into her dreams and chased her out of her home, causing her to run into two others, Thalia Grace and Luke Castellan, who had the same shadows. They form a small family fueled by secrets and running. But after both Annabeth and Thalia are Selected, their shadows follow them to the palace of Olympia, where they will partake in a competition to win the Prince's heart. The other Selected, which include Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, and Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, admit to Annabeth that they too have been followed by shadows. Strange dreams plague the Selected, and their shadows seem to be hiding within the people surrounding them. Just as Annabeth slowly starts to fall in love, several murders occur, and several of the Selected fall as victim. Annabeth soon reveals the biggest truth of all: the Selection isn't meant to find love; it's meant to find those who are different. And once they're found, the world may never be the same. The Selected were promised love, and they found it, though not in the expected way. But as darkness falls upon the palace and friends turn on each other, can love save them?

Two years. It's been two years since Percy and Annabeth separated. Two years of forgetting and rebuilding the brick wall... But are those two years enough to forgive and forget? Is two years enough time to mend a broken heart? Percy and Annabeth have continued to work on their goal. Even though they're separated miles away and have pushed the thought of each other in the back of their heads, old connections seem to come back to make them meet again. A wedding invitation from the couple the two had unintentionally set up arrived in their mail. What happens then? Everything seems to come back to them. The sequel to Secrets. - I saw it once, I have no doubt; but now I can't place its whereabouts. I try to think it, time and time; but what it is, won't come to mind. A word, a scent- a feeling, past. But it won't show, though much I've asked. And when it comes, I soon forget- this is how it felt, when we first met. - Lang Leav (Déjà Vu)
