Alola. A beautiful island chain and a hotspot for tourism unmatched by any other location. However, it seems there's always trouble in paradise. Two powerful people reign supreme for their energizing of Alola's usually calm political atmosphere. One of them is comedically nationalistic and bigoted right-wing populist ready to murder the entirety of the population that makes more than a hundred thousand a year. The other is an exclusionary radical feminist libertarian convinced that the only way to achieve a perfect society is to have the income tax be lower than the percentage of right-wingers alive once she commits genocide on them. Debate is the lowest form of discourse, and with that in mind the two will debate until their mouths dry out from lack of lead-tainted water. Truly, they're both pillars of excellence for our children. --- The vaguely acceptable cover is made by me, but thank you to @Cora-chan for her help in designing it!

Nine years before the Hoenn Primal Crisis, a younger Steven Stone has been forced to study for most of his life to prepare for becoming the next president of the Devon Corporation. His entire life changes when he receives Meteor, a Beldum with companionship to offer and more than enough to say about it. Once the duo take part in and win their first battle, Steven realizes that he's meant to be a Pokémon Trainer and eventually leaves home. Not long into his travels, Steven encounters an organization of people with twisted morals and an even more twisted way of expressing them. It doesn't take long to discover what they want- him. With assistance from Meteor, a few new allies, and an intriguing girl named Arietta, Steven can only hope he's able to elude capture so the organization won't ensure the downfall of not only the Devon Corporation, but potentially Hoenn itself. Long ago, a species called Pokémon inhabited every corner of the earth, from the depths of the ocean to the atmosphere. They roamed the fields and swam in ponds. They rested in trees and flew overhead. They even thrived alongside humans, or so research says. The Pokémon then vanished without a trace. They left nothing behind except the technology that people had used to study them. Those machines now decorated museums all across the lone country named Inridia in order to immerse the population in the history of the world. The humans that lived during that same time period were also never seen or heard from again. Frost Statice -- son of a wealthy politician and student at one of Inridia's most prestigious academies -- was skeptic to believe the old stories. He thought they were nothing more than myths, for how could such a race have existed in such an ordinary universe? But when Frost encounters one of the creatures first hand, his perspective is forced to change. To uncover the truth behind the Pokémon's disappearance, he must dig deep into the history of Inridia itself. -------- ♔ 1st Place in the Adventure Category of the 2018 Pokémon Watty Awards ♔ Highest Ranking: #5 in Adventure, #5 in Action ♔ Best Protagonist, Most Deserving of a Sequel, and Pushing Boundaries in the 2018 Pokémon Watty Awards -------- ♔ Cover credit goes to the amazing @ImberLapis

...Do I really have to give this stupid introduction? Yes? I do...? Fine... Whatever. My name is Nova Lise, and I just moved to the Alola region. I'm nineteen, and because my mother can hardly stay in one place, we move from region to region a lot. I try not to get too attached to anything or anyone, because I never know when my mother will up and decide to move again. My father's not in the picture, so don't even think about asking about him. Most trial-goers in Alola are eleven years old when they start their island challenge. I'm nineteen years old and just now starting mine, since I only recently moved here. ...okay, so maybe I'm getting a bit of a late start. So what? I know this is a new thing for me, starting an island challenge in a completely unfamiliar region, but my cousin Kukui deciding that I need a babysitter to make sure I don't get lost and give me a crash course on being a Pokemon Trainer was the absolute worst idea he's ever had. Yeah, my new babysitter's name is Altair Knight, and that jerk is so infuriatingly perfect at everything that it drives me insane. I look like some sort of fumbling idiot compared to Mr. Perfect, because I can't even properly work a microwave! Anyways, this is the story where I'm supposed to go on some journey with this infuriating guy Altair who loves to push my buttons and mess with me, a quiet and mysterious girl named Lillie, and some spastic eleven year old boy named Hau who's obsessed with malasada, and I'm supposed to come back from it all a different person. Hah. Yeah right. I'm not a perfect person, I'm flawed. And if you don't like that, get lost. {Pokemon Sun & Moon fanfiction; OC x OC pairing; PG-13 for dark themes and strong language; cover art was edited by me and I don't own the art used for it}

"Excuse me? What did you just say?" She fumed, knitting her brows in agitation. "You heard me," he replied in a deadpan manner. "You're a spoiled, self-centered, entitled brat," he finished, causing the woman before him to clench her fists in rage. "H-how dare you speak to me that way! Do you have any idea who you are talking to? I could make your life miserable, you know that right?" She fumed, using every ounce of willpower she had to avoid slapping him across the face. "I am fully aware of who I saved, princess," he responded, emphasizing her status. "I just don't care. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my class before they leave me here. Good day, your highness," he added, turning around to leave. Seth Da Silva was a senior at the prestigious Kalos Academy high school. Being head of the fencing club as well as a top athelete at his school, Seth had a lot going for him. His younger sister, Melody Da Silva, was a freshman and a very studious individual who took pride in the fact that she had an older brother like Seth. Despite having different schedules, the two found themselves on the same class trip to the one and only, Parfum Palace. Being given a writing assignment for history class, Melody made sure to be on the trip. Princess Allie, daughter of a very wealthy family and princess of the Parfum Palce, had finally turned eighteen. With her new age came a new status; eligible. In other words, she was now of age to be married. However, like everything else in her little world, it had to be done her way. After proposing a competition for her hand to her parents, they seemed open to the idea and put out a notice to all of Kalos, inviting several wealthy families and trainers to her birthday celebration where the announcement would be made. During the party, Princess Allie takes a tumble off the balcony, straight into the arms of Seth... The beautifully made cover was done by @ImberLapis, as were the banners!
