Have you ever experienced the wind flapping through your mane and forelock as you gallop through vast plains and over rocky slopes? Have you ever known what freedom feels like, knowing that it isn't free? Of course you haven't. You aren't a horse-shifter like me. Well that so called freedom can be taken away any second of any day. In the blink of an eye, and you probably won't even know it. But I do. It happened to me. Like yesterday, when I was caught by the people that run the Wild Mustang Round Up. It isn't a beautiful sight. But I am. My coat, black as night, red as fire in sunlight. My mane, dark as coal, wild as the wind. My tail, as dark as ebony, that can't be tamed. My spirit? Ha, it is as wild as wild can be. I. Can. Not. Be. Tamed.

(Excerpt) I looked up into his gorgeous, honey-colored eyes and felt my heart begin to thrum with the love that was trying to over take me. His eyes were piercing and seemed to hold some unknown emotion that he was having a hard time controlling. The wind whispered against my bare legs and shoulders and I instantly regretted the tank top, blue jean shorts, and cowboy boots. I shivered unconsciously and he looked at me with concerned eyes. Without speaking, he slipped off his plaid button-up shirt and slipped it onto my shoulders. My cheeks instantly flushed a bright red. “How do you do it?” he asked me in wonder. “Do what?” I asked, confused. “Steal away my attention even with this captivating view surrounding me,” he frowned. My cheeks flushed even redder, “You are so cheesy and romantic, you know it? You’re like my own personal redneck Romeo.” “If I’m a redneck Romeo, then you are definitely my tan-legged Juliet,” he smirked and I knew that I was done for.

What happens when you take the city girl and move her to the country? That's currently the situation that Elizabeth or Liz for short is facing. Her dad just died and her mom was seriously in a mid-life crisis which consisted of her mother thinking it would be a good idea to move back to her small hometown in the middle of hillbilly central to live in the house her grandma had left them in her will when she passed. Could Liz handle the new move, and leaving behind her glorious lifestyle and friends. The city was her home, how would she deal with fields and stars instead of tall buildings and lights. What would happen when the small towns champion bullrider took an interest in her, would she let all her walls she has spent her whole life building come down and let herself fall for him, or will she ignore him and do everything in her power to get back to her city of lights. Seriously this book is so much better than my lame description of it.
