A certain disease called, the Blue Flu. Hearing that Sonic was sick, Rouge called someone to take care of him, and that someone was Shadow the Hedgehog himself. Shadow didn't want to take care of his rival, he'd rather kill him if he got the chance. But, he only accepted the offer for the money Rouge promised she'd give him after.

When Sonic gets in life threatening trouble, a mysterious hedgehog saves him. Why? Why would Sonic's most envied rival want to save the Blue Blur? What prompted his actions of saving not only Sonic, but himself in the process. This is a love story between two rivals, who could hate each other more than they love their speed. But they just don't.
